I’ve been doing gamejams since probably around 2005 or so. The idea of making a game in a short period of time with a predefined theme and other limitations in mind is really interesting to me. It’s usually a good time to make something interesting that I’m usually already thinking about, but not all the time I come up with something interesting enough that gets me through the whole competition, though.
In the title I called it “abandoned games”, but to be honest none the entries here are considered games at all, they’re usually just a proof-of-concept of an idea with very little technical accomplishment.
Testing some latex:
$$\mathbb{N} = { a \in \mathbb{Z} : a > 0 }$$
Some inline equation is $f(x)=x^2$. Can you see it? More inline: $\alpha$
Matrices!
$$ \begin{matrix} 1 & 2 & 3 \\ 4 & 5 & 6 \\ 7 & 8 & 9 \end{matrix} $$
$$ \begin{matrix} a & b \\ c & d \end{matrix} $$
Func
$$ f(x)= \begin{cases} 1/d_{ij} & \quad \text{when $d_{ij} \leq 160$}\\ 0 & \quad \text{otherwise} \end{cases} $$
Complex
$$ \begin{CD} A @>a>> B\\ @VbVV @AAcA\\ C @= D \end{CD} $$
